TCO20 AWARDS CEREMONY
TCO20 has come to an end. It was definitely a unique TCO that nobody could have foreseen happening last year. The Covid-19 pandemic turned things upside down all around the world with many big name conferences and events being cancelled. The Topcoder team went to extraordinary efforts to organize this TCO in a virtual manner.

Competition Tracks
Algorithm Competition
A timed contest where all contestants compete online and are given the same problems to solve under the same time constraints.
Development Competition
The Development Competition includes the following tracks: Code, Assembly, and Architecture.
First2Finish Competition
The F2F Competition asks competitors to perform small fixes to challenge results or to actually fix bugs.
Marathon Competition
Marathon Competition offers a longer timeline, and an opportunity for competitors to iterate and improve their solutions against open-ended problems that have no single right answer.
UI Design Competition
The UI Design competition will focus on design concepts, mobile, web and application design. You can compete in any of UI design challenges to earn points towards qualifying for the UI Design Championship.
Quality Assurance Competition
The Quality Assurance (QA) Competition challenges can include: unstructured testing, structured testing, structured test case writing, and automated testing.
REGIONAL EVENTS
TCO20 Regional Events will be held virtually for different geographic regions of the world. Members based in a particular region will compete against each other to earn a ticket to the regionals and eventually become a champion of their region. Each event will include virtual challenges for attendees, networking opportunities, dev sessions, and more.
We have divided the qualifications to 7 regions of the world according to the basic geo scheme and also combined a few regions based on the participation.
These exclusive events are invite-only meaning you have to win a ticket to attend. Tickets will be awarded based on performance in Stage 2 of TCO20 in each track. There are separate leaderboards on each regional page filtered for each region from the main TCO20 track leaderboards.
